READING IN BLACK is a documentary series highlighting inclusive literature for Black children. It seeks to educate the public on the history of literature available to Black children and amplify the voices of creators who create literature centered around inclusivity.

Created by Jacqueline Douge, MD, MPH, FAAP, a Black pediatrician, writer, speaker and Founder and CEO of What is Black, LLC, a company creating engaging, quality and representative content across podcasts, books, film and television that centers and celebrates Black families.
